Filler
The facial fillers used at The Face Place are composed of hyaluronic acid. These fillers are effective for eliminating wrinkles, plumping and hydrating lips, replacing lost soft-tissue volume, raising scar depressions, and adding volume to facial creases and folds. As we age, our skin becomes more vulnerable to wrinkles and fine lines, particularly from sun exposure and muscle movement. Facial fillers provide a solution to these signs of aging through targeted injections.
Immediate Results and Healing Process
Results are visible immediately after treatment. The healing process begins shortly after and may involve swelling for about 3-7 days, depending on the amount of product injected, the area treated, and how your body responds to the procedure. The product then settles, and you will see your final results approximately 2-3 weeks post-injection. It’s recommended to allow a minimum of 2 weeks before any major events or vacations to account for any residual bruising and swelling.
Longevity
The longevity of fillers can vary from person to person and depends on the treatment. Since the product is injected into the body, some individuals may metabolize it faster than others. Below is the average longevity for different treatment areas:
